Two chicks from the eggs of our Cochin
#backyardchickens that had to go to a friend's backyard. One of these seems like a
#Silky and
#Cochin mix. You can see the differences in the feat in some of the photos. Silkies have 5 or so toes, and the color is different too. We call them Red and Pink, the Mixed Pink seems to have Hybrdid Vigor. The pure-bred Silkies tend be really goofy for a while and not as athletic as Cochin, but this hybrid is quicker and more agile... It might be a sex difference. With only a year of experience with chickens everything we think is just a wild guess (hypothesis).
