How do I share something from another channel that I own?

The problem is that when I go to search or go to that channel, my current channel switches to that channel. But I don't want that. I want to share it from my main channel. I'm not connected with the channel currently.

So what I did was:

I reached that post. If it switches the channel, doesn't matter.
On that post clicked the cog icon, went to View source and copied the link target which was labeled "llink".
Then went back to my main channel (which switched the channel to main channel which I want to share from) then pasted that llink URL I copied earlier.
Clicked cog icon, clicked Share This and shared.

It worked. The result is this post.

If I was connected with the channel maybe this would be lot easier. But now when I'm not connected Link to source doesn't work, so this View source worked for me.

While writing this, I just learned how to continue a bullet point in markdown.

I was using markdown mode for this post and I had to put the image in between. Putting it there made the bullet point start from 1 after the image. So what I did was just added a space before the image line and it did the trick!
