I think hubzilla's wiki will work great as a Digital Garden.[1]
The though of Digital Gardening with Hubzilla Wikis came to me while making a writing available for GDM teachers in Japan. [2]
Later I will have to find all the links to Digital Gardening articles that got me thinking about an alternative to blogs where the sequence is dictated by when you start a writing. I think it was Shriram Krishnamurti's blog that send me on a reading binge about Digital Gardening. But all the good ideas from the Digital Gardening discussions can be covered by Hubzilla's wiki. Instead of a distracting links in the body of the writing about "first planted" and "last changed" there is the "history" tab that lets you see when a writing was started, AND even compare different versions... This could be a good way of learning
composition, if people could use these hubzilla wikis share their writings and show how the writings get better(hopefully) with each version.
